    Wireless Emergency Shutdown, Shut Off System
                            RADIO REMOTE CONTROL

Designed specifically for Industrial Plants, our Remote Emergency Shutdown system was developed to eliminate costly hard-wiring of manual emergency-shutdown switches.


Any number of radio transmitter units can be  installed within 1000 ft of a receiver control unit. The system is designed to work in conjunction with existing or plant safety equipment and is easily installed. The ASK100BP system can also be ordered to work in conjunction with our Truck Remote Units if required.

Transmitter devices are low-voltage intrinsically safe units suitable for use in Class 1, Div 2, Group “D” hazardous environments. Transmitter batteries will last three-four years and have a test feature and low battery alarm. Remote stop-switch is rugged non-sparking cast aluminum and is fully sealed against extreme weather and temperature conditions.
Receiver units are designed to easily interface and trip electrical, pneumatic, nitrogen, or mechanical plant shut-off equipment. BASE can supply actuators for these systems as required. Systems pretested and shipped with detailed installation guide and schematics. A four-year full replacement warranty and 24/7 lifetime product support is included.

TRANSPORT “PASSIVE” SYSTEM AUTOMATIC LEAK DETECTIon

Model: LDS 100

An automatic leak detection and shut down system designed by professional engineers specifically for LPG and Anhydrous Ammonia bulk transfer. Intrinsically safe unit continually monitors the offloading process for “rate of change” parameters signifying broken or damaged hoses, fittings and piping. A leak is instantly detected and stopped by the closure of the tank internal valve(s). The truck’s engine can also be stopped and PTO disengaged if desired. This system automatically activates at the end of each load. This ensures that the system is fully operational and helps reduce the possibility of a damaged cargo pump due to product run out. This unit also “fails safe” and closes the internal valve with a loss of power or the release of the trailer parking brakes.An optional “Attendance Timer” is available. This query feature stops the off-loading process if the operator fails to press the “GO” button within a five minute window. A 30 second warning will sound followed by delivery shut down. This feature helps ensure operator attendance during the loading/off-loading process.
